Mavi is an exciting bellydance performer and instructor in the Chicago suburbs. She has studied several styles of eastern dance including Turkish, Egyptian and Roma (Gypsy). She is known for energetic performances, engaging stage presence and artistic style. Her supportive, positive personality and patience, combined with her enthusiasm for the dance help assist new-comers to this dance to feel confident and relaxed as they are guided through the basic vocabulary of belly dance movements.

Suggestions on what to wear to class: yoga pants, fitted tank or t-shirt, a hip scarf or shawl around the hips. The instructor has coin hip scarves to loan for duration of class or you can purchase one at the spa. Bring a water bottle, go barefoot and be prepared to have a great time. please arrive about 5 minutes early for class.
